| + | [* red] Loosen the two Phillips head screws that hold the actuator in place. They do NOT need to be removed fully, just loosened. |

| + | [* green] Once loosened simply push up on the actuator and then push the screws out through the large holes just above them. |
| + | [* black] Once loose from the panel pull the actuator out, away from the front of the car and the lock shaft will pull out of the hole where it enter the fuel filler opening. |
| + | [* black] Disconnect the vacuum "Y" connection from the fuel door lock actuator. At this point you can remove the actuator from the car for inspection. |
