+[* black] Remove the one 6.0mm screw that is holding down the battery. This screw will not come all the way out. Use the same Philips #00 screwdriver for this step.
+[* black] Working carefully, pull upwards on the plastic strip of the battery connector, working as a handle.
+[* black] With the battery disconnected, you can safely remove the battery from its housing.
