-[* black] Once you have the case pried open, locate the battery. It is highlighted in yellow in the first picture.
-[* black] Locate the set of rainbow wires connecting to the middle of the top edge of the battery. The orange arrow points to them. Remove the black tape covering them. Avoid disturbing the white wires below, or any part on the green motherboard.

[* black] Lift the battery from its studs and place it further from the hinges, straightening but not stretching the rainbow wires. This will give you more room to work next.
[* black] At the end of the rainbow wires furthest from the battery, there is a black, blue, and white plug. Using tweezers, grasp the white portion and pull straight back to fully disconnect the old battery.
