+ | [* black] Remove the black tape covering the rainbow wires at the top-middle edge of the battery. The orange arrow points to them. Avoid disturbing the white wires below, or any part on the green motherboard. |
[* black] Lift the battery from its studs and place it further from the hinges, straightening but not stretching the rainbow wires. This will give you more room to work next. | |
[* black] At the end of the rainbow wires furthest from the battery, there is a black, blue, and white plug. Using tweezers, grasp the white portion and pull straight back to fully disconnect the old battery. |
