+ | [* black] Locate several rainbow wires connecting to the middle of the top edge of the battery. Remove the black tape covering the rest of the length of the rainbow wires. Avoid disturbing the white wires below, or any part of the green motherboard. |
[* black] Lift the battery from its studs and place it further from the hinges, straightening but not stretching the wires. This will give you more room to work next. | |
[* black] At the end of the rainbow wires furthest from the battery, there is a black, blue, and white plug. Using tweezers, grasp the white portion and pull straight back to fully disconnect the old battery. |
