-[* black] Flip your laptop bottom side up with with the hinges on the side opposite from you. You should see nine screws near the outer edges.
-[* black] Remove each of the 6.0mm Phillips head screws securing the back panel. The J1 head from the iFixit kit works well for this. Be aware of the small washers on the screws.
-[* black] Beside either hinge, insert a plastic prying tool between the laptop casing and the back panel. To part the casing and panel, gently work the tool around the outer edge.
