[* black] Remove the four screws holding the metal battery cover against the base. I used size 6 Torx bit.
-[* black] Note how I had mangled the bottom corner of the metal cover where I had cut a hole in the base- this was also is right beneath the ribbon connector.
+[* black] I mangled the bottom corner of the metal cover where I had cut a hole in the base- I just cut off the mangled part before replacing it so it fit when I put it back together.
+[* black] Note there's a LOT of open room and nothing important on the other side of the battery cover on the side of the "ember" logo. This would be the better place to open than what I did.
