-[* black] Once your soldering iron is hot enough, prepare to unsolder any one of the ground wires (the wires connected to the base of the potentiometer).
-[* black] Grab the wire, and begin tugging on it gently.
-[* black] Place the soldering iron onto the solder connecting the wires to the component, heating it up.
-[* black] Once the solder is melted enough, the wire should come out easily.
+[* black] Once your soldering iron is hot enough, prepare to desolder the ground wires (the wires connected to the cylindrical base of the potentiometer).
+[* black] Grab the wire, and gently pull it away from the potentiometer.
+[* black] Melt the solder on the ground connections by touching the tip of the soldering iron to it. Continue pulling on the wire with your other hand.
+[* black] Once the solder is melted enough, the wire will be pulled away easily.
