- [* black] Make sure your new speaker has grommets installed in the screw holes. If it doesn't, transfer the grommets from the original speaker to your replacement.
- [* black] Put the speaker into place so the grommets go over the screw posts and press down gently in the middle of the speaker.
- [* icon_caution] Don't press down on the [link|https://guide-images.cdn.ifixit.com/igi/5vl4oX3GhWPMlHZ6.full|rectangular rubber diaphragm|new_window=true] on the top edge or you'll damage the speaker.
