+[* black] Next, use some sticky masking tape to cover over the rubber gasket around the display edges. This can be quite tricky as we want to aim for 1-2mm inside of the rubber but not getting the tape directly stuck to the rubber to much as it may damage the fragile rubber. This will also prevent any liquid from getting inside the display.
