| + | [* icon_note] These screws, as well as the remaining screws throughout this guide will require a PH0 screw bit. |
| + | [* orange] Grab the metal ring directly below the lens mount and pull upwards. It is best to keep the metal ring, the lens mount, the lens mount washer, and the weather seal together as taking them apart is not needed. |
| + | [* yellow] Next, remove 4 screws around the outside of the fixed barrel assembly. |
| + | [* icon_note] Be sure to remove the screws that are recessed into the lens, and not the screws that are sticking off of the lens (those ones are only for holding the tripod mount onto the lens). |
