[title] Reassembly information
[* icon_reminder] During reassembly:
[* black] Use a spudger and tweezers to peel up and remove the old piece of foam tape.
- [* black] If your battery doesn't come with replacement tape, cut a new piece of foam tape that's approximately 0.5 x 1.5 inches (1.x 3.8 cm).
- [* black] Apply the new piece of tape in the same spot where the old tape was.
+ [* black] If the tape sticks to the battery, isn't tacky enough to reuse, or your replacement battery doesn't come with new tape, cut a new piece of foam tape approximately 0.5 x 1.5 inches (1.5 x 4 cm).
+ [* black] Apply the new piece of tape above (not on) the white ribbon cable, where the old tape was.
[* black] Reconnect the battery by aligning the connector head over its socket and pressing it into place with your finger—you should feel the connector slide into the socket. Don't try to force the connector into place. If it doesn't connect easily, reposition the connector and try again.
[* icon_note] This ensures the battery is properly oriented when securing it with the tape.
[* black] Press the battery into place on the tape to secure it.
