| [* black] Unplug the two small flex cables from the backlight board, being sure to properly unlatch the connectors first. | |
| [* black] Flip the backlight power board over to the left, exposing the CCFL high voltage wires. | |
| [* black] Disconnect the two CCFL high voltage wires. | |
| [* icon_note] The CCFL connectors can be challenging to remove. Try using a spudger to pry the connector+tiny board upwards while using your finger to pull sideways on the connector to disengage the latching tabs. | |
