-[* black] On the top, prop the motherboard on something preferably made of metal or a non-flammable material.
-[* red] Carefully desolder (or melt) the small globs of shiny metal holding the wires in place.
-[* icon_caution] Be VERY careful when doing this part, make sure to not grab the metal part of the soldering iron while it is on and wear a mask, so you won't inhale the fumes.
-[* black] Pull the wires free from the motherboard. Make the repairs/replacements needed.
