-[* black] Measuring with a [product|IF145-035|multimeter|new_window=true] in the 'diode' mode revealed that the left IGBT (the GT60N321) had indeed given up the ghost: collector and emitter were diverted.
-[* black] To be sure that this was not a side effect of the surrounding electronics, I [product|IF145-018|desoldered|new_window=true] the IGBT pins from the PCB with a tin sucker, and then measured again. The IGBT was indeed found to be defective.
