[* red] Locate and remove the black and white wires connected to the subwoofer assembly.
- [* black] Lift the clear coverings for each wire and press the small latch using your fingernail or a pair of tweezers.
- [* black] While pressing, pull up the connector until it disconnects from the bracket on the subwoofer.
+ [* black] Slowly pull the clear coverings for each wire up and locate the small latching mechanisms that keep the wires connected.
+ [* black] Using a pair of tweezers, or your fingernail, hold onto the small latch and gently pull the wire off of the subwoofer.
+ [* icon_caution] Failure to press the latch while pulling could damage the subwoofer and/or wires.
+ [* icon_note] Both wires are not the same size, so one cannot connect to the other.
