-[* black] Begin to carefully separate the Keyboard away from the device using an opening pick.

+[* black] Insert an opening pick under the keyboard and pry around the perimeter of the keyboard until it fully releases.
+[* black] Lift the keyboard slightly.
[* icon_caution] There is a ribbon cable connecting the keyboard to the device on the underside. Do ***NOT*** pull it away or you risk ripping the ribbon cable and causing damage.
-[* black] Use your fingers or an opening pick to unlock the hinge securing the ribbon cable in place, and disconnect it.
-[* black] Lift the keyboard off and set it to the side in a safe location.
-[* black] You now see a metal panel that needs to be removed using a #J1 screwdriver.
