[* black] Remove the backing of the laptop to expose the hardware.
-[* black] This is done by unscrewing the 9mm Phillips screws holding the laptop backing in place. Use the Ifixit screw driver for this. The Ifixit screwdriver has the 'JO' bit.
-[* black] Pry the backing of with the Ifixit opening tool
-[* black] Locate the optical disk drive amongst the hardware.
+ [* black] Use the iFixit screw driver to unscrew the Japanese Industrial Standard (J) screws holding the back cover in place.

+[* black] Pry the backing off with the Ifixit opening tool.
+ [* icon_note] It is helpful to get an opening and carry that around the backing of the laptop. The cover should lift off easily if done correctly.
