- | [* black] Pull the black plastic tab away from the iMac to eject the RAM chip from its socket. *note: I would advise using two hands evenly on the right and left corner of the pull tab, and, if you have large hands, use your right or left ring finger to grasp the plastic circular edge of the empty power port for leverage-- THEN firmly pull the tab using both index fingers and thumbs to grip the tab while using the ring finger to counter the excessive force needed to pull out the tab and get the RAM to partially eject. If your hands aren't large enough, have someone help to brace the unit. |
