+[* black] Undo 7 screws holding the metal plate to the plastic base cover (mark their positions to aid reassembly as there are 15 holes in the metal plate)
+[* black] Gently partially lift off the metal plate, noting that they are still electrically connected by mains wire as in second image.
+[* black] Note in the second image there are four loose black spacers on the attachment posts (blue arrows) and three without spacers. Marks positions to aid reassembly.
+[* black] You can remove the mains wiring if desired or just turn over the metal plate to expose the drive belt.
