[* black] Use highly-concentrated isopropyl alcohol (over 90%) and a microfiber cloth to remove any remaining adhesive residue.
- [* black] If you're using custom-cut battery adhesive, follow [guide|123541|this guide|new_window=true] to apply it. Otherwise, apply strips of double-sided tape such as [product|IF317-072|Tesa Tape|new_window=true] in the battery recess.
- [* black] Before you adhere the replacement battery, temporarily connect its cable to the motherboard to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- [* black] Press the battery firmly into its recess to secure it.
+ [* black] Temporarily connect the replacement battery's cable to the motherboard and lay the battery in its recess to ensure proper fit and orientation.
