-[* black] The flash needs to open to take the case top off as when it's closed it may interfere with the removal of the case top. On the left side of the camera, there is a button to open the flash. Press it to open the flash.
+[* black] There are two M1.7 x 5.0 screws holding the case top in place. One is located on the back of the camera below and just to the left of the command dial. The other one is on the right side of the camera just to the right of the strap mount.
