[title] Remove the lower case
[* black] Remove the lower case.
-[* icon_reminder] To reinstall the lower case:
- [* red] Set it in place and align the sliding tabs near the display hinge. Press down and slide the cover toward the hinge. It should stop sliding as the tabs engage.
- [* icon_note] You can see if the tabs engaged by looking under the lower case.
- [* orange] When the sliding tabs are fully engaged and the lower case looks correctly aligned, press down firmly to engage the hidden clips underneath. You should hear and feel four distinct clicks as they snap back into place.
+[* icon_reminder] During reassembly:
+ [* red] Set the lower case in place and align the sliding tabs with the screw heads they slide over. Press down and slide the lower case toward the back edge to engage the tabs—it'll stop sliding as the tabs engage.
+ [* icon_note] When one side is engaged, it may push the other out of alignment. Check both sides as you push, there should be no gap along the back edge.
+ [* orange] Once the lower case is flush with the frame, press down firmly along the perimeter to engage the four snapping clips.
+ [* icon_note] You'll hear and feel a distinct click as each clip snaps into place.
