[* black] Before you begin the repair, turn off the record player and unplug the power cord.
-[* red] Remove the cartridge lock from the back and then the front, by hand.
+[* red] Remove cartridge lock by pushing inwards (towards the needle arm, while lightly squeezing the sides by hand. Then pull downwards and towards you to disengage the locking hook. This will unhook the lock between cartridge and base.
