| [* black] Remove battery by pushing slide tabs towards the middle, and this will unlock and unclip the battery from the device, then put aside. | |
| [* black] Turn device back on to its upright position. Long-press the power button ensuring the device is drained of power. Then close and turn back to open bottom panel. | |
| - | [* black] Remove the screws around the bottom panel, Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver (PH1 bit) to remove the two 12.5 mm screws, four 5.5 mm screws, and six 7.25 mm screws and set aside in a bowl or container. |

| - | [* black] Remove 2 corner panels along the ends of the battery slot and this will expose another set of screws (1 each under each panel). |
