-[* red] Use a Phillips Head J000 screwdriver unscrew and remove the seven 2.5mm screws connecting the fan to the motherboard.
+[* red] Use a JIS #000 screwdriver to unscrew and remove the seven 2.5mm screws that secure the fan to the motherboard.
[* black] Remove the fan from the laptop.
+[* icon_reminder] Follow the instructions found [guide|744|here|new_window=true] to reapply new thermal paste. If your replacement heat sink and fan assembly has thermal paste pre-applied, you'll simply need to remove the old thermal paste from the laptop.
