[* black] Carefully lift the top of the keyboard up to access the ribbon cables connecting it to the device.
[* red] Detach the two ribbon cables that connect the keyboard to the internals of the computer. There is a white tab holding them in place. Pull up on the tabs to unlock the ribbon cables, then lightly pull them straight back. Using a pick tool to pull up on the tabs comes in handy.
-[* black] Once the ribbon cables are disconnected, the keyboard is free from the computer.
