[* icon_note] Power down the Surface device fully before doing anything.
[* black] With the screen face down, move the kickstand as far back as it will go.
-[* black] Identify where the access cover is. It's a little rectangle in the bottom corner, under where the kickstand sits, as shown.
-[* black] Use a SIM Tool to push in the little circle in the corner. The cover will pop up and then you can remove it.
