+[* black] With the top panel secured, remove the three connectors from the lid lock switch assembly. Take a photo of the connections before removing them so that you don't mess them up later when putting everything back together.
+[* black] When removing the connectors you must hold the switch assembly tight with one hand and remove the connectors with the other.
+[* black] Once you have removed the connectors, you will be set to remove the switch assembly but first get another piece of wood and place it underneath the lid/door of the washer and shown in the picture. This will prevent the lid/door from falling and getting on the way.
