[title] Heat the battery adhesive
-[* icon_note] The battery housing is not in direct contact with the outer mouse cover. Because of that you might need to repeat the heating procedure a couple of times to loosen the battery adhesive enough in order to remove the battery.
-[* black] [guide|25705|Heat an iOpener|new_window=true] and apply it to the back of the mouse.
- [* icon_note] A hair dryer or heat gun may also be used, but be careful not to overheat the battery as it is susceptible to heat damage.
- [* icon_caution] At higher temperatures the plastic mouse cover becomes heat sensitive. Avoid overheating it.
+[* icon_note] The battery housing is not directly touching the outer case, limiting heat transfer. You may need to repeat the heating process a couple of times to soften the adhesive enough to remove the battery.
+[* black] [guide|25705|Heat an iOpener|new_window=true] and lay it on the top case for two minutes.
+ [* icon_note] You can also use a [guide|157348|hair dryer|new_window=true] on the ***Low*** setting, but be careful as the plastic is susceptible to heat damage.
