[title] Unclip the mouse case
-[* black] Grasp the mouse case at the back of the mouse and pull the two halves apart slightly, so there's a gap just at the back of the mouse.
-[* black] Grasp the mouse near the middle and slowly pull the two halves apart, while sliding the base toward the front of the mouse slightly.
+[* icon_note] There are clips all around the perimeter of the mouse case holding the two halves together. It is easiest to pull them apart starting at the back of the mouse.
+[* black] Grasp the mouse case at the back and pull the two halves apart slightly, so there's a gap at the back of the mouse.
+[* black] Move one hand toward the front of the mouse and continue pulling the two halves straight apart.
+ [* black] As you reach the front of the mouse you will need to slide the base toward the front of the mouse (down in the photos) so that the two halves clear each other.
[* icon_note] There are many stubborn clips around the perimeter of the case that will take some force to unclip.
[* icon_caution] Do not completely separate the two halves yet—they are still tethered together by a delicate cable.
