-[* black] Insert the flat side of a spudger into the charging port.

-[* black] Push the spudger in to slide the inside of the remote about 1 inch (2.5 cm) upwards.
- [* icon_caution] Don't try to push out the entire inside of the remote! The power button has be removed first.
