-[* black] OK. Things were going great until this point. Feel free to comment below if you have some insight here. First, in trying to remove the display, I separated the digitizer from the OLED. In fact, it happened so easily, that didn't know it was happening until it was too late.
-[* black] First picture is the digitizer. (The glass you actually touch with your fingers.) Notice anything? There is no ribbon cable. In fact there is nothing that I can see that electronically connected it to the rest of the phone. The whole bezel is literally glue, and a very thin glue line I will add.
-[* black] Second and third pics are the OLED. (Front and Back sides). This is a flexible polymer OLED, so that is nice. But again, only the single connector, and no discernable damage other than the fact that it is now separated from the glass.
-[* black] So any thoughts as to how this black magic works? Have you seen this in other devices? I'm guessing that the glass and the OLED are somehow connected through the bezel, and I just didn't know what to look for.
