[* black] Position your opening tool between the key cap and the hinge its attached to.
[* black] Firmly push up but with steady force to avoid any damage. The cap should snap away from the hinge.
[* black] Repeat this process, putting your tool under the hinge, to remove the hinge if it needs to be replaced as well. This will snap away from metal holders on your keyboard.
