-[* black] The Xiaomi Mi watch is waterproof up to 50 meters but easily opened with a Torx T2 Bit from our [product|IF145-299-4|Mako Driver Kit|new_window=true] and a little bit of prying. We wonder if Xiaomi sticks to one screw type on the inside…

+[* black] Even though it's water resistant up to 50 meters, this Mi Watch opens easily with a Torx T2 bit from our [product|IF145-299-4|Mako Driver Kit|new_window=true] and a little bit of prying. It's nice to be reminded that "waterproof" does not have to mean "glued together."
+[* black] Our first look inside is also encouraging, as we spot some standard Phillips screws. Would've been even better to only require one screwdriver for disassembly, but luckily we're well prepared.
