-[* black] Unscrew the two 50 mm screws from the chassis covering the disk drive.
-[* black] Thread the blue, orange, black, white, and grey wires up through the hole in the motherboard. Detach them from the chassis.
-[* black] Wedge the flat end of the spudger in between the palm rest and the bottom plastic piece of the ThinkPad. Unsnap the edges of the ThinkPad until the palm rest is disconnected.

+[* black] Thread the wires from the back of the ThinkPad where the wifi card and RAM are located up through the hole in the motherboard. Unwind them from the chassis.
+[* black] Wedge the flat end of the spudger in between the palm rest and the bottom case. Unsnap the edges of the palm rest and case until they disconnect.
