-[* black] Insert the flat end of the spudger in the gap where the keyboard meets the palm rest on the right side of the ThinkPad. Pry up the keyboard with the spudger and the thumb of your left hand.
-[* black] Gently lift the keyboard up from the palm rest to expose the chassis and motherboard.
-[* black] Pry up the connecting ribbon from the motherboard with the spudger.

+[* black] Insert the flat end of the spudger in the gap where the keyboard meets the palm rest. Push the keyboard away from you with the spudger and your fingers.
+[* black] Gently lift the keyboard up from the palm rest to expose the keyboard ribbon connecting to the motherboard.
+[* black] Pry the keyboard ribbon up from the motherboard with the spudger.
[* black] Set the keyboard aside.
