[* black] Gently lift up the motherboard from where the disk drive is and pull it out.
-[* black] once you turn the motherboard around you will be able to see and remove the old thermal paste.
-[* icon_note] What I also highly recommend doing is cleaning out the heat sync. This will prevent your ps4 form overheating and increase its longevity for a couple of years. You only have to remove three screws. Make sure to screw them back when you are finished.
