-[* black] This is the first time we've seen dual cameras in a smaller-sized iPhone, so our curiosity wants to take a closer look.
- [* icon_note] No sign of a plastic spacer to replace missing LiDAR, [guide|137669|like in the 12|stepid=274757|new_window=true]. Not like there was any extra room anyway—this little guy isn't trying to compete in the Pro arena.
-[* black] Just like the non-Pro iPhone 12 camera (on the right), the mini has the same ƒ/1.6 wide-angle and ƒ/2.4 ultra wide-angle cameras, both of which ring in at 12 MP with optical image stabilization.
- [* icon_note] We're impressed by more than one camera in the mini, but it may have come at the expense of battery life, which wasn't really that great to begin with. We've already forgiven it, though, since it's so cute!

+ [* icon_note] One missing piece: a plastic spacer to fill the [guide|137669|LiDAR array's shoes|stepid=274757|new_window=true]. An understandable space savings!
+[* black] The mini camera (left) has the same ƒ/1.6 wide-angle and ƒ/2.4 ultra wide-angle cameras of the standard 12 (right). Both 12 MP sensors feature optical image stabilization, too.
+ [* icon_note] We're impressed by the additional camera, but it ''may'' have come at the expense of the already paltry battery life. Hard to stay mad at this lil guy, though.
