-[* icon_note] The keyboard will make popping sounds once you begin lifting it. This will be clips holding it together and are by design.
-[* icon_caution] Do not quickly lift the entire keyboard as their are two ribbon strips connecting it to the bottom of the computer still.
-[* black] Grab your thin plastic tool from step 2 and use it to gently pry open the locking mechanism on the ends of the ribbons connecting the keyboard to the computer.
+[* red] Using a spudger, gently pry open the locking mechanism on ZIF connectors connecting the keyboard and trackpad cables to the motherboard.
+[* black] Once the locking tabs have been flipped up, slide the cables out from the connectors.
+[* black] Remove the keyboard assembly.
