+[title] Disconnect the Power Cord Wires
[* red] Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to loosen the two screw terminals securing the power cord wires to the main switch.
[* black] Remove the power cord wires from the main switch.
[* icon_note] Take note of which lead connects to which terminal for reassembly purposes.
[* icon_reminder] During reassembly, if the replacement power cord is not pre-fitted with crimped wire ends, ensure about a 1/2" of insulation is stripped from the end of the wires. Twist the wire strands before inserting them into the terminals.
