[title] Latch Removal
[* red] Turn the latch key to the downward position.
[* red] Use a screwdriver to hold the mechanism in place in the hole that the latch key was in.
[* icon_caution] Without the screwdriver, the latch mechanism will fall into the door and won’t be able to be recovered
[* red] Unscrew the 2 screws connecting the latch mechanism to the door with a Philips Head screwdriver.
[* red] Remove the screwdriver while holding the latch bolt and remove the latch mechanism.
[* icon_note] This may be difficult to remove, wiggling the mechanism and taking it out top first helps.
