-[* red] Using the Plastic Spudger, remove the two ZIF connectors connecting the power button board to the motherboard. To remove a ZIF connector, use the flat end of the Spudger to flip up the white or black tab on the top. Then the connector should slide out.
-[* icon_note] This ZIF connector is glued to the middle to the Fan. You do not need to separate this connector from the fan in order to remove the fan/motherboard piece from the device, you only need to unclip it at both ends.
