-[* black] If your fret board is bowing upward towards the strings, loosen the trust rod a quarter to half a turn by turning the hex wrench counter-clockwise.
-[* black] If your fret board is bowing downward, creating a boat shape, tighten the trust rod a quarter to half a turn by turning the hex wrench clockwise.
-[* icon_note] If you are doing this step with the strings on, tighten or loosen the trust rod until the fret board is perfectly flat. If done without the strings on, leave the fret board slightly bowed upward.
