+[* red] Now that you have removed the metal casing, locate the input and charger jacks centered on one side of your Kindle.
+[* orange] There is a small metal strip facing the center of the Kindle. Use your finger to gently apply pressure and push upward on the metal strip.
+[* black] Once you have detached the metal strip from your device, the input and charger jacks can be removed.
+[* yellow] Pick up the part using fingers on both sides, and be careful to not bend the black portion connecting the two jacks.
