[* black] Begin removing the battery by using your Phillips head drive to remove the three screws at the top of the battery near the motherboard.
-[* black] Place the screws in a parts container.
-[* icon_caution] Remove the battery while making sure the battery cable does not get caught on the back-plate.
+[* black] Disconnect the white battery cable which is located between the black battery and the green motherboard. To do this, use the plastic pry tool to push the white tabs on either end of the white male adapter away from the connection port.
+[* black] With your hands, lift the battery out of the back plate and place it on the bench away from the work area.
