[* black] In a surprisingly candid statement, Apple apparently [https://twitter.com/LaurenGoode/status/1189663651214450688?s=19|confirmed|new_window=true] that these Pro 'Pods aren't repairable, only replaceable, and are no better in this regard than the earlier versions.
-[* black] We can't believe we're saying this, but we're inclined to disagree about the second part—these are a ''bit'' more repairable.
-[* black] In theory, you could replace the in-ear portion (battery + driver + crusty old earwax) and ''keep'' the stems—including the main board, antennas, microphones, and squeezy sensor. It's not much, but we'd call it an improvement!

+ [* black] If not for that statement, we might have guessed that Apple planned to replace the in-ear portion of the 'Pods (battery + driver + crusty old earwax) and ''keep'' the stems—including the SiP, antennas, microphones, and squeezy sensor. It's not much, but it's something!
+[* black] At the end of the day, though, there's just not a foolproof way to reassemble a dismantled Pod. And on that note, it's time we address the repairability score.
