-[* black] On the motherboard, make sure every wire that is connected is removed. There are 6 wires attached. Make sure to use the proper methods when removing the wires.
- [* black] Three of the six wires have a clasp holding the wire. Pull up on the tab and remove the wire.
- [* black] The other three wires have pull tabs and can be removed by pulling from the connector of the wire.
-[* black] Unscrew six (6), 3.5 millimeter Philips Head 00 screws.
-[* black] Gently lift the motherboard out of the laptop.
+[* black] Disconnect the 6 wires that are attached to the motherboard.
