[* black] With the home bar out of the way, gently pry up the display using the iPod Opening Tools.
[* icon_caution] There is another ribbon cable attached to the bottom of the LCD. Be careful not to damage either of the connectors when removing.
[* yellow] Disconnect the orange ribbon cable horizontally by carefully lifting the black tab on the connector using an iPod Opening Tool. Pull the ribbon out towards the bottom of the PSP to disconnect.
-[* icon_note] You may disconnect the other ribbon cable for the home bar as well if you find it difficult to remove the display.
