[* black] The back cover adhesive consists of a perimeter strip and support strip(s) (some models). Figure out how each adhesive strip aligns with the components by matching the adhesive strip's contours with the adhesive residue and phone frame.
[* icon_note] Generally speaking, the adhesive covered by a clear plastic liner should affix to the phone frame, while the adhesive covered by a colored liner should affix to the back cover.
[* black] Use an opening tool and high concentration isopropyl alcohol to remove all adhesive residue from the phone frame.
