[* black] With the hard drive adapter pcb, battery, antenna cables, and CD drive moved out of the way, the Motherboard will be ready to remove.
[* black] Remove the 7 phillips head screws holding the motherboard down to the laptop chassis.
+[* black] Lift the motherboard upwards, folding it towards the laptop screen. It will still be attached by two wires, but it is unnecessary to remove these wires to access the fan.
+[* black] Disconnect the 4-pin PWM cable attaching the fan to the back of the motherboard. The fan can now be removed by simply sliding the fan off the copper heat pipe.
